Caring Funerals Sponsors Mother’s Day Fair at Holy Spirit Croydon

On 4 May, Caring Funerals was pleased to sponsor a Mother’s Day Fair at Holy Spirit Croydon.

Held at the Croydon aged care residence, the event brought together residents, staff, families and local visitors for a casual morning of food, entertainment and stalls. The setup was simple but lively, with colourful decorations across the courtyard, a barbecue running, and a steady flow of people moving through the space.

You can see from our photos that the day had a bit of everything. There were market tables, music, children visiting, and a few unexpected guests as well (including an alpaca and two clowns who added plenty of colour to the fair!). It gave the event a relaxed, local feel rather than anything too formal, which seemed to suit the setting.

For us, sponsoring an event like this is really about showing up for the community in a practical way. A good aged care Mother’s Day event doesn’t need to be elaborate to be worthwhile. Sometimes it’s simply about creating a change of pace, giving residents something different to enjoy, and making space for families to spend time together.

We were glad to support this Mother’s Day fair at the Holy Spirit Croydon nursing home and to be part of a well-attended Mother’s Day event in Croydon NSW. It was a small contribution, but one we were happy to make.
